Wild Earth's Sustainability Update

Exciting news incoming.

This isn't another sustainability announcement where a company says all of the 'great' things they aim to do for the planet but doesn't carry it out. We are in business to do good to keep our environment how we like it - wild.

Over the last 18 months, we have been working hard behind the scenes to improve our sustainability practices and we are stoked to share them with you.

B Corp Certification

In October 2023, Wild Earth was officially certified as a B Corp Business. This certification is a recognition of our dedication to meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. It's a recognition of our collective efforts to make a positive impact not only within our organisation but also in the communities we serve and beyond.

Our Carbon Offset Partnership with Klean.io

But that's not all. Since January 2023, we have been working in partnership with Klean.io to further our sustainability initiatives. We offset the Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon footprint of every customer order, and we're doing it at no additional cost to you. That means we will offset the carbon emissions from all our operations including electricity, company vehicles, waste, packaging, and order shipping to name a few. 

When you shop with us, we'll give you the opportunity to choose from 4 different carbon offsetting projects that have been verified with Tasman Environmental Markets. Each project is accredited by a third-party and meets the Australian Government’s Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard. 

WA Reforestation Project

Here's how it works: When you shop with us, you'll have the opportunity to choose your preferred carbon offset product at checkout. By selecting this option, you are actively contributing to the reduction of your order's carbon emissions, therefore directly helping mitigate climate change. It's a simple and effective way for all of us to make a meaningful difference in protecting our planet.
